A very veggie Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all! And now a Happy Black Friday…
For our feast this year we went strictly vegetarian borrowing heavily from this NY Times Blog’s vegetarian menu.
Everything was delicious but our favorite preparations were the stir-fryed brussel sprouts and the squash/green bean salad.
We paired everything with lefse (see: making lefse), champagne and some wonderful red wine. But we definitely missed the gravy…
Laura, I have to give you our vegetarian gravy recipe! It’s so good. I accidentally forgot to label it this year and several of our meat eaters took it on accident and didn’t notice the difference. I secretly like it better than the regular kind. I should remember to post it at some point.
In lieu of not going to your wedding I have spent a lot of time looking at your pictures and reading about how you designed everything. I will admit to being a bit jealous of your creativity!
